February 12 Game Night

We had a pretty full house, with Anthony, Brian, Dagon, the Father of Dagon, Erica, Frank, Jason, Maurine, Paul, Romeo, and Steve.

Five of us got embroiled in an intense game of Wallenstein that lasted all night. Fortunately, the time was well spent, as the best man won. (Poor Anthony spent the last turn being dismembered as the wolves surrounded him and then took their fill. Good times.)

Other games played included Bohnanza, Dixit, King of Tokyo, and Fairy Tale.

January 29 Game Night

We had a good turnout, with two new people: Kevin and Maureen. Hope they had fun!

The regulars were: Anthony, Brian, Dagon, Erica, Jason, Jeff, Paul, Shelly, and Steve.

Games played were Category 5, Hearts, Love Letter, Pompeii, Survive, and Tzolkin.

Good times were had.

January 15 Game Night

A smallish group met in the House of Dagon: Anthony, Brian, Dagon, Erica, Jason, Jeff, Paul, and Shelly. We split up into two fours and played: Traders of Carthage, Stone Age, San Juan, Dominion, and Hearts.

Good times were had.

New Year 2013 Game Day

The Davis Board Gamers convened for eight hours of gaming fun.

The participants were: Anthony, Brian, Dagon, Daniel, Erica, Evan, Frank, Jason, Jeff, Jenn, Jessica, Norah, Paul, Romeo, and Shelly. (We missed you Steve! I was prepared to pummel you in Tammany Hall.) Bean and Norah were good girls. They sat and shared a rice cake under one of the tables.

We played (in chronological order): Bang!, Puerto Rico, Saint Petersburg, For Sale, Kingdom Builder, Ra, Stone Age, Kingdom Builder (again), No Thanks!, Ascending Empires, Flowerfall (x2), Samarkand, Flowerfall (again), No Thanks (again), and Parade.

Thanks to all who attended and to those who brought yummy food and drink. It was a great time. (I think I may see a tradition forming...)
